Wellness...

Here I am...my second week of my Wellness Report...It was a long, hard, stressful, scary week...I only made it to the gym once and walked twice this week...but I was just happy to have that time.  So I'm giving myself a :) for my effort.

My To Do List this week was a total bust...but I was doing the important things...so no guilt...I'll get to the To Do's when I get to them.  WOW!  I think I've really embraced this new attitude...this new peaceful life!  In my former life I would have been running around all day today to make up for lost time...NOPE!  I didn't do it.  I took a really long walk...started a pot of chicken soup for mom,  and I spent some time in my sewing room.  I finished Buster's quilt top...

Makes me very happy!  Just have to share this picture of my Mr. Quilt Holder peeking over the top
...we were both laughing it's a wonder I got a picture at all...LOL!

So, I think I was successful...no guilt!  More progress!

It's funny how in a typed blog entry you can sound happy. So what if you didn't make it to the gym--- you didn't wallow in things you couldn't help. You quilted, made chicken soup and laughed with that quilt holder.... It's not what you didn't do----it's what you did that matters....

What a wonderful post Carol!!! Big Hugs coming to you my "guilt free friend", LOL. Mr Quiltholder (aka McCuddely)...is that right? just looks so cute peeking over the quilt that I think you had better share that hug with him, cause you made me smile talking about trying to get the picture. Making me smile is certainly worth sharing a hug and I'm certain it was big enough to go around. *wink

So he's back to being called 'Mr. Quilt Holder'???? LOL! Love Buster's quilt. Watch out, that name just might stick -- or Bubba for short!

It soooo is what you did that's important. Not what you didn't do!

Congratulations! Progress indeed even if it wasn't EVERYTHING you had wanted to accomplish. You did what NEEDED to be done and that is alot by my measure. Thanks to you and Kelly, I'm enjoying my own little wellness report each week. And thanks to you, I'm learning to be guilt free! Thank you Carol. Hope your Mom continues to feel better and hope you have a great week.
